Day to day Itinerary for this program

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi:
Arrive this morning in Nairobi. Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, is a cosmopolitan and lively city, the largest between Johannesburg and Cairo. Set against city skyscrapers is a national park full of wild animals, Nairobi National Park - a haven for lions and rhino as well as zebra and many antelopes. Upon arrival, you are met by Ashford Tours Representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day you are free awaiting the safari adventure to start the following day. Dinner and overnight at The Nairobi Serena Hotel.
 

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve.
Your safari adventure starts today. After breakfast meet your safari driver/guide and depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive good time for lunch. After lunch take a late afternoon game drive, returning to lodge for dinner. The lodge is set in the ravine forests on the life sustaining Ewaso Nyiro River and guests can watch the wildlife drink at dawn and dusk from their own rooms. Overnight at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve.
Spend the day exploring this savagely beautiful, arid ecosystem. Famous also for its endemic species like Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Oryx and Gerenuk, the river is an arterial lifeline for the abundant wildlife. All meals shall be provided for at your lodge. Overnight at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Samburu – Aberdare National Park.
Drive to Aberdare National Parks via lush Kikuyu land to your all night game viewing lodge. From the balcony of the lodge you can see game coming to drink from the flood-lit waterhole. Overnight at Treetop Lodge

Day 5: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast depart Treetops and descend into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at a safari lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive through this diverse park famed for its greater and lesser flamingoes, rhinos and waterbucks. Evening Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha. Your dinner and overnight at The Great Rift Valley Lodge.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
After a hearty breakfast, drive through Maasai country to Kenya’s number one game reserve, the Maasai Mara. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive in search for the famous ''big five'' and various animals that roam the vast plains. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Day 7: Full day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
Breakfast at the camp. Full day game drives exploring the magic of this unique and fascinating game reserve, where the annual migration of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes takes place annually. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. You also have an option of visiting a local Maasai Village, a tribe of traditions and celebrations, unique in their way of survival, living in harmony with nature. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Isebania - Serengeti National Park.
After an early breakfast depart with picnic lunches to the Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border and through the vast plains. Enjoy your picnic lunches and continue on a leisurely game drive in this side of the park en route to the Lodge arriving late evening. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

Day 9: Full day in Serengeti National Park.
Breakfast at the lodge. Morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the Serengeti national park. The wildlife defines the Serengeti-countless zebra; buffalo, gazelle, wildebeest and other species make it their home. The terrain is the main stage for the great wildebeest migration, an awesome spectacle involving millions of these beasts. Lunch, dinner and Overnight at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

Day 10: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater.
Early morning game viewing drive in the Serengeti followed by breakfast at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Depart with picnic lunches on a game viewing drive en route to Ngorongoro National Park. After lunch depart and continue to ascend to the exterior of the crater reaching its rim and here your first glimpse of what has often been referred to as the “Eighth wonder of the World.” Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater.
Early breakfast at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Then descend to the floor of the crater and have an experience of a lifetime, as you watch literary thousands of game that Africa has to offer. The unique eco-system supports the delicate balance of predator and prey in the endless quest for survival. Picnic lunch boxes will be served by the hippo pool. As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim ascend and return to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Day 12: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara National Park.
Breakfast at your safari lodge and then depart for the Lake Manyara National Park for the afternoon game viewing drives, the extraordinary birdlife and Tree climbing lions are but one of the lure. The place is world-renown amongst the ornithologists, who come to observe the masses of pink flamingos and great birds of prey. Dinner and Overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge

Day 13: Lake Manyara – Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch. The proceed on to Namanga border point. Here you will change the vehicles and the driver guides before proceeding on to Amboseli National park. On arrival enjoy an evening game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 14: Amboseli National Park.
With breathtaking views of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, here one will find excellent cuisine and luxurious rooms with en-suite bathrooms, built on the Masai village achtecture. You will enjoy a morning and evening game drives. All meals shall be served at your lodge. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

Day 15: Amboseli – Nairobi - Depart.
Departure from your lodge after breakfast and drive to Nairobi to arrive for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant or Pampa Churascaria Restaurant. Visit the Giraffe Center and Karen brixen Museum. Evening transfer to Airport for departure.

-       Reservation done for a group of more than 4 Adults traveling together will attract a discount of US$400 on the Adult rates.

-       Reservation falling on December 24, – January 02, is subject to Christmas and New Year Supplements of US$48 per person per night.

-       Similar lodges may be used incase those mentioned on the itinerary are not available.
