 Ashford Tours and Travel Ltd.
We are Destinations Management
Company established and run by experienced and successful
professionals with superior knowledge of East Africa and a great
passion for excellence. The Company is owner managed and provides
tours and travel agency related services in East Africa region. The
company was started with the aim of providing quality tours &
safaris to individuals, families, groups, incentives & conferences
at affordable prices. We give very personal attention to all your
travel needs making your safari truly memorable.
The Company's mission is to offer
enriching travel experiences that enhance people’s lives by
broadening their knowledge and fulfilling their long waited travel
dreams. We aim to deliver the "Ultimate African experience" to

Transportation
our vehicle fleet comprises of custom-built safari vans and 4X4
safari jeeps all maintained to the highest standards. All our safari
vehicles are fitted with a long range 2 way HF radios for
communication. Cool-box for soft drinks, reference wildlife books
and First-Aid Kits are available in the vehicles. We use our own
fleet of vehicles making it easy to maintain and thus keeping
quality service.

the most important single item in travel business in any destination
is the quality of the guides. Their knowledge and experience can
make any trip truly magical, knowledgeable and enriching. A good
guide not only provides wildlife, cultural information and
assistance with logical matters, but also becomes your friend -
knowing when to step away and also knowing when to provide just a
little bit more assistance. We have a selected team of well
trained, experienced and knowledgeable guides to accompany you, with
knowledge of wildlife and birds, their behavior as well as the local
flora and fauna. They also speak Spanish and French other than
English, thus giving you a choice.
Safari planning.
Our Associates are well conversant in planning tours and safaris in
the most attractive areas, our scope currently limited to East
Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda). We prefer to focus on what we
know and can do best. Our purpose and principle is to work with each
client, family and group individually. We encourage our clients to
discuss their expectations, budget etc., to be able to arrange a
custom made safari just for you.
Apart from offering our own regular departures of "Luxury Road
Safaris" - scheduled seat-in-car tours, we offer tours to suite all
travel related organizations, families groups and individuals,
incentive, Meetings & Conventions, Camping safaris and Beach
holidays. However, we can also offer quality tours or safaris within
a client's budget. We believe in providing good products at
affordable prices. Our rates are very reasonable when all of our
services are taken into consideration.

Most of them have stayed in constant touch with us even after going

Our drivers and guides
The driver or guide will determine the success of your safari and
this is a fact. With this knowledge in mind, we have a selected a
team of well trained, experienced and knowledgeable guides to
accompany you, with a knowledge of wildlife and birds, their
behavior as well as the local flora and fauna. Apart from English
language, some of them speak Japanese, French. Germany and Spanish.
Regular departures Our regular safaris
depart daily with a minimum of 2 persons for lodge safaris and 4
persons for camping safaris. We do this in order fit our itineraries
to your schedule. The camping safaris can and do also depart with
minimum 2 persons at an added cost.
Briefs
The Company has solid customer service department, and clients are
met and seen of by our Airport Representatives. A knowledgeable host
or hostess will assist with check-in and introduced you to your tour
guide/driver and also go through the safari program with you,
explaining what to expect while on the safari, provide background
information and materials, discuss the dos and don'ts as well as
answer any last minute questions that you may have.
Accommodation
Accommodation greatly depends on your budget. There are several
types ranging from 5-star hotels and luxury tented camps to basic

for our clients regardless of the level or budget. We select only
the finest hotels, lodges and camps. Each, carefully and
thoughtfully chosen to reflect not only our own high standards, but
also the spirit of the itinerary in which it is used. We also
