Ashnil Camp - Samburu - Kenya

Ashnil Samburu Camp, opened in October 2008. The entirely new exclusive comfortable deluxe tents spread out along the shady banks of the Ewaso
Nyiro River under a thick stand of Doum Palms and acacia trees that are
a feature of the area.
Ashnil Samburu Camp is 12 kilometers from Ngare Mara Gate and about 5
hours drive from Nairobi.

The main guest area, shaded by a canopy of acacia trees consists of the reception, lounge area, dining area, bar, and veranda deck with a view of the river. Guest
rooms are spread out in 12 tents either side of the Main building.
Each of the 24 exclusive comfortable deluxe tents give perfect views of the Ewaso Nyiro River, surrounding beautiful landscapes and all life this brown river supports.
For the disabled, accommodation in tents is available.
Every spacious tent consists of a king size bed, dressing area, sitting area, luggage rack, in door shower and toilet facilities among other facilities to provide a
memorable stay close to nature.

Location & Description :

Ashnil Samburu Camp is 12 kilometers from Ngare Mara Gate, Buffalo Springs National Reserve south of Samburu National Reserve, about 325 km from Nairobi. Flying time Nairobi/Samburu is approximately 45 - 60 minutes from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport.

The camp facilities include a swimming pool for adults and children, a wonderful viewing deck with the view of the Ewaso Nyiro River, well stocked bar, gift shop, dining area and lounge area.
