Kicheche Camp
Kicheche Mara
Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a grove of wild olive and
croton trees in a prime wildlife area of the northern Mara plains.
Kicheche Mara Camp is located on the Aitong Plains in the northern
Koiyaki Lemek region, bordering the famous Masai Mara reserve.
The camp is
located in a wildlife area and game viewing starts right from the
camp itself. Access is from Ngerende airstrip, 35 minutes game drive
away.The camp prides itself on offering a friendly and relaxing
stay, with our hosts treating
you as welcome guests, not mere travel statistics.
Each tent is
comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom and flushing toilet,
low wattage lighting is supplied 24 hours. The majority of the tents
are in
secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills, while
others
are closer together for families or friends.
To maintain this intimate and relaxed atmosphere there is a maximum
of twenty
two guests at any time.
Location:
Kicheche Mara Camps are bush hideaways in a different world centered
at the heart of the African wilderness that is Kenya’s Maasai Mara.
The sites are a world of majestic animals, dazzling birds, sweeping
grasslands, flat topped trees and breathtaking sunset.
Kicheche Main Camp is a small eco-friendly traditional tented camp,
hidden in an adjacent forest. It consists of 7 luxury tents and is
only available on an exclusive basis for groups. It's small size,
bush feel and well-hidden location make a stay an intimate and
authentic experience.
Kicheche Bush Camp is a classic, intimate, luxury bush camp
completely unfenced, accommodating a maximum of only twelve guests,
under canvas. Just 30 minutes south of the Main Camp, Bush Camp is
fully hosted and run to the same impeccable standards of Kicheche
Mara Camp.
Accommodation:
Accommodation offered in spacious tents with most of them in
secluded positions overlooking grassy plains and nearby hills, while
others are closer together for family and friends.
All tents are comfortably furnished with luxurious amenities to
ensure your comfort, with:

A spacious Nyati Tent at the MAIN Camp acts as the camp lounge with
comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts.

P.S: Children are
accepted at the camps but adults must be aware that the camps are is
not fenced and no additional facilities are available to occupy them
outside the normal excursions
