In English "Kichwa Tembo" would be called elephants' head camp, "kichwa" meaning head and "tembo" meaning elephant. This well established
permanent tented camp is situated at the foot of the Oloololo
escarpment on the edge of riverine forest and magnificent
Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Kichwa Tembo Camp is a luxury tented camp situated on Oloololo Escarpment overlooking the vast plains of the Masai Mara. The lodge is 250 Km West of Nairobi. The camp offers excellent game viewing accross the plains of the Mara.
