The Governors’ IL
Moran Camp has been kept small and intimate, with added touches. IL
Moran is widely regarded as the premiere camp in the Masai
Mara. Hidden under ancient trees, deep in the forest, are just 10
tents.
They line the winding banks of the Mara River.

Location:
Governors’ Il Moran Camp is a small camp for those who want that
extra bit of luxury. Recreated in the atmosphere of the original
hunting camps, Il Moran is hidden under ancient trees, deep in the
forest, off the banks of the Mara River.
This luxurious tented Camp is located in the wilds of the world
famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is costantly traversed by an
unrivalled flow of wildlife throughout the year.
The camp can be easily accessed by road, 320 km southwest from
Nairobi or by light aircraft landing at the Musiara Airstrip.
Accommodation:
10 Double Suite Luxurious and Spacious Safari Tents, all under
canvas -each with:
◙ Private Verandah
◙ En-suite bathrooms with shower, basin, flush toilet, bidet and hot
and cold running water
◙ Gas & Paraffin lamps
◙ 220/ 240 Volt plugs at reception
◙ Room service on request
◙ Tea and coffee is served in the tents
◙ Morning Wake-Up Call

All the traditions of the bush apply and facilities are under canvas
and include:
