Harry Thuku Road, 5 minutes from city centre.  

When The Norfolk Hotel first opened in Nairobi on Christmas Day 1904, the Savoy Hotel in London was 5 years old and the London Ritz was still a year away. No other hotel in Kenya captures as much of Nairobi's splendid past and exciting present, and few hotels anywhere can claim a more romantic history.

Norfolk Hotel Accommodation:

Comprises of 85 twin and 20 double-bedded luxurious bedrooms as well as 18 suites and 6 garden facing cottages offering a total of 266 beds all with private bathrooms with shower, minibar, television & Radio and direct dialing telephones.  

Norfolk Hotel Facilities:

The Ibis Grill, The Lord Delamare Restaurant, The Lord Delamare terrace & Bar and Poolside patio and Cocktail Lounge The garden and aviaries, Heated Swimming pool. Health Club equipped with gym saunas, steam rooms, Aerobics & massage facilities. Conference facilities with a capacity for up to 255 people.  

Restaurants :

There are six restaurants in the hotel, each offering gourmet dishes fit for kings. Room service is also available 24 hours, and offers a choice of 2 menus. Besides a regular room service menu, a special children's menu is on offer. The Ibis Restaurant menu can be served in guests' rooms for lunch and dinner. The Ibis serves guests its menu on request from 19:30 to 22:00 hours.  

Gardens:

Guests can enjoy the tranquility of The Norfolk gardens, which feature interesting plants and birds; besides the collection of antique modes of transportation in the grounds.  

Heated Swimming Pool

Norfolk Hotel has  a  heated swimming pool is normally manned by a pool-attendant from 09:00 to 18:00 hours. Separate men and women's changing facilities are available. Towels are provided here, along with mattresses for the sun-beds. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  

Norfolk Hair & Beauty Salon

Tariku's Hair Salon is open from 08:00 to 17:00 hours, and offers hair styling, manicure, pedicure and massage facilities.  

Norfolk Health & Fitness Centre :

The Norfolk Health and Fitness Centre features a well-equipped and maintained gym with modern equipment, aerobics tutorials, and the services of fully qualified health experts and masseurs. Separate facilities for men and women include changing rooms with showers, steam bath, sauna and restrooms. The Centre is located above the Poolside Restaurant. 

Shops

Norfolk Hotel Gift Shop is open from 07:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday; and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 hours. The Gift shop offers a large selection of souvenirs, postcards, books and memorabilia, as well as up-market Kenyan artifacts and jewellery. A selection of local and international newspapers and magazines can be purchased or orders taken for daily delivery to guests' rooms. A smaller shop offering general amenities and souvenirs is also located near the Hair Salon.
